Preparing artwork
Which files to send for personalised event photographs
An organised folder containing the logo, final wording and a visual reference makes preparing photo strips clearer. An inspiration image and a production file serve different purposes.

Graphic examples
From inspiration to a clear composition

Find the original logo
Use the file supplied by the designer rather than a thumbnail downloaded from social media. Keep the original vector or editable artwork when available, together with an image preview. PNG can preserve transparency; JPG includes a background that becomes part of the layout.
Files are not all imported in the same way. Confirm the preferred version with TxokoFoto and do not change an extension to try to convert a file. A photograph of a printed logo may explain the idea but cannot recover the original detail.
Supply the wording as text too
Send exact spelling, accents, names and date format so they can be checked against the proof. For a company, identify the approved brand name and logo version.
Separate final artwork from discarded alternatives. Clear labels such as approved-logo and final-wording help avoid confusion when several versions exist.
Check reuse permissions
References can explain colour and composition without being copied. Confirm that illustrations, fonts and brand assets may be used on this print format. Guest information is not required to design a template.
A useful artwork folder
- Original logo and an image preview if available.
- Final names, date or brand wording.
- Colour and style references with a short explanation.
- The intended transparent, light or dark background.
- The person responsible for final approval.
Approve the full layout
Review readability, borders, proportions and picture space in the intended format. Even a sharp file can be badly positioned, so approval should cover the entire composition.
Design scope and additional work are agreed in the proposal. This guide does not promise that every file format, font or transformation is included.
The main idea
An identifiable original, exact wording and clear approval are more useful than an unlabelled collection of files.
Frequently asked questions
Is a screenshot of the logo enough?
It can explain the idea but usually has less detail than the original and may include unwanted backgrounds or borders.
Can I send my company logo?
Yes, for considering personalisation. Use authorised artwork and confirm format and conditions with TxokoFoto.
